I have fallen for Sir Guy of Gisborne in robinhood and i know he is a baddie but he is soooooooo cute. here he is and i am so glad i saw him but you know what? he kills maid marrion, i know he likes her but he stabs her. Though after rewinding and watching ten times i have to say I think he was tortured by her words and this is why he was led to do that awful thing. here he is. and look up you tube to see him put to music!!!

my pool

O I absolutely adore my pool, I go in there to meditate, exersize, do my faery swim, and just swish around in the water feeling as if I am a mermaid, light as air, able to move without any pain or problems. No aching anything, just oiled up joints that move freely and I swish around feeling as free as can be. I love to share my time in the pool with Bella who is a good swimmer and enjoys herself with me. when she has had enough Bella swims to me and climbs up to my shoulder.Otherwise I lift her out and her legs are still swimming away and she grumbles, let me down, let me down.........now!!!!!!!!!

March 2011

I cannot believe it is already March 2011. Where did all the time go? I am back to doing Oten school work again so that I can keep my head working as sometimes it just wont go at all. I want to make my brain work hard so the courses I do just give it a prod every day or so. I got an exellent mark for my last essay so i am hopeful for the one my hubby posted yesterday for me. We have been married for 22 years now by the way and I still adore this man. I love to look at him, listen to him and be with him. Never can get enough even after all these years!!!! If I am lucky I get to go to lunch with him on sunday with my sister and brother in law who cook for us all. My favorite meal is pizza, one of my favorites anyway and Steve makes them from the base up. One for me, plenty to take home for the rest of the week, one for my sister Chris, and one with meat for the two men! Isnt he great to do all this cooking for us? Chris and Steve cook meals for me to take home like meals on wheels. They do it to give Shaun a break and also to make it easier for me, I can just defrost and heat them all in the microwave. I like to do something for myself as Shaun does a lot for me. I like to load and unload the dishwasher too, that is my chore for everyday and I really enjoy doing it. Anyway I will show you some photos of the pizza I get to enjoy, absolutely delicious!!!! Doesn't Steve do well?

My Castle

On the main page at the bottom you see me sitting with a sad castle. Shaun and I were given a disability holiday at Byron Bay about 18 years ago. Shaun went off with the carers while I went off with others like myself. Well my man went into a charity store, a hobby he enjoys, and found this sad castle for me, so even on a holiday he got a dollhouse for me! I put a family of mice in the top and in the dungeon underneath a witch lives and holds meetings there.

Johnny

Our gorgeous big black boy passed away suddenly as I have mentioned. Well I didn't want another dog but my family pointed out that along with losing Sirius, I had lost my Independence. Shaun worried about leaving me home alone as well, without Sirius Black to keep me safe. So Johnny came to live with us. He is a two year old white Standard Poodle who ha is a supermodel like our Daisy was. Johnny flew from Adelaide to Brisbane and my hubby had to drive three and a half hours to pick him up and they arrived home another three and a half hours at 11.30 at night. Johnny had slept all the way, so now he wanted to play!!!!. The girls were nervous of him at first so we put him to bed and here is a pic of him on his new bed.
The girls didn't take long to get to like their new brother. We call him Johnny Feonix because he rose from a puddle of tears to spread rays of sunshine which he does every single day for us.
My mum said we spelt the word wrong but our special boy deserves a special way to spell his name. He answered from the start to his new name so it was truly meant to be, Johnny Feonix coming to live with us. He loves our garden and is with the little girls, BellaDonna and Emma most of the day.

More Furry Family

Once Wunjo passed away, Sirius was extremely depressed, so we found a little mate for him at a rescue centre. BellaDonna is a moodle, and a bossy little girl, though the smallest in our family. For four days or so we told Siri he was getting a little sister and he was so excited although he didn't know what a little sister was!!! He was getting one!!! We met the rescue lady at the top of our island, and BellaDonna was handed over to Sirius who barked his hello, Bella barked back and has had the last word ever since!!! We drove to the other end of the island to show my sister our new girl. Sirius was fine with his aunty Chris holding his new 'sister' but when she took her to meet Chris' two dogs, Siri got very upset and woofed his head off. "She is MY little sister, give her back." Once Bella was back in the car Siri calmed down. He had his sister!!!

Shaun still missed Wunjo a great deal, I had BellaDonna to snuggle at night, Siri slept at the end of the bed and Shaun was lonely for his cuddly Wunjo. So we got Emma, another rescue poodle who brightens everyone's day.

Here is Emma driving our car and Shaun with his fan club.

Emma fell in love with our 17 year old cat Freya.

Furry Family

We recently lost our wonderful Sirius Black standard poodle who was so clever he deserved a medal. He helped me in the bathroom as well as fetching my medication from two different places. He also was the one to tell me when the night pills were due to be taken. He saved me from many falls, usually every day at least once. This fellow passed away simply because he drank water too fast, and too much of it. Everyone with a large dog please read up about bloat and try and prevent it from happening at your house. We knew all about and warned him all the time to drink slower, but this happened anyway. Here is my hero with my hubby Shaun.

Sirius had a best friend in our Wunjo, a miniature poodle who passed away at fifteen years old.

My Holiday

I was given a trip to Lidi and Peter's Little Shoppe of Miniatures in Nambucca Heads by CVCP Carers service. So that I didn't arrive at the shop tired, I was given a night at a resort in Coffs Harbour as well!
Unfortunately, before I went away my darling boy Sirius Black, a large black standard poodle, passed away. I wanted to cancel the holiday but was reminded I would be able to cuddle Lidi's two brown standard poodles. My arms felt so empty without my boy to cuddle.

Genevieve, my friend and carer, set off on a lovely day, driving past rows of gum trees along the highway. Before we went to the resort we headed to an opal shop. There were steep steps into the shop, our first obstacle but Genevieve came back to the car saying, “There is a ramp out the back and she seems excited about us using it.” We were to go up the neighbor’s steep driveway and then left, across a paddock. At the back of the shop there was a steep old ramp. Well, Genevieve tried to get me up, but I rolled back down again. The lady at the top offered to could catch the chair if we took a running go at the ramp, so we tried again, and she leaned forward and actually grabbed the chair!!! Then she calls, “Duck your head girls, there is a cabinet on the wall.” Another obstacle overcome. The shop had lovely Opal jewelry, also beautiful Agate rocks, some half price.
As I was leaving home Shaun gave me an envelope from Sirius Black, telling how he had saved twenty dollars for me to buy a present from himself. Well at the display of Agate rocks, I was drawn to one with lines of sparkling silver, looking just like my river faeries sparkling on the blue water. Sirius bought this for Shaun, and it was half price!!! All the rocks were beautiful, deep blue in colour and very heavy but yet again, I saw another, deep blue which looked like it was looking out of a cave to a view of the ocean with clouds and sparkles. Sirius bought it for me.

The lovely assistant took a photo of me beside a huge wizard’s hat shaped open amethyst egg. It was six million years old!!!

The opals were lovely and sparkled beautifully, I bought myself a one inch miner with a chip of opal to use as a music award for my Stevie Nicks' mini apartment. The opal lady went through a full basket to find the figure with the best opal chip.
Leaving the shop was an adventure ride, the assistant offered to go behind me and Genevieve went in front to slow the chair. Well the lady let go of me! I went zooming down the ramp, knocked Genevieve backwards, tipped me forwards and I almost flew through the open car window but luckily I landed against Genevieve, still seated! Genevieve said the lady had a look of horror on her face until she and I began to laugh. She must have been thinking we were going to sue all her opals off her.

Our resort was really lovely, our villa was comfy and we watched a DVD while eating pizzas which were delivered to us! As soon as I saw my night time pill bag I burst into tears yet again as Sirius used to get it for me. I sobbed all through the movie, all night and began the day with teary eyes yet again when I had no Sirius to help me out of the shower.
The reason I decided to go on the holiday was because I would be able to cuddle the two large brown poodles who live at the miniature shop. Lidi, Peter and lovely daughter Jessica fell in love with our big white Hecky many years earlier and bought Maddy. It was the best compliment to our beautiful boy. He was my first standard poodle and he taught himself to help me, he was a lovley gentle giant. So clever too, amazing how he saved me from many falls. Now I was to meet their boy Monty who was bought to keep Maddy company. Lidi was in New Zealand doing a miniature course but her hubby and daughter Jessica would be there to chat to.
We found their shop in Nambucca Heads where Lidi and Pete live above their miniature shop. They opened up as we arrived. Not long after we entered, the shop filled up with customers. I had a great time looking around at all the items for sale including my sister’s woven tea towels, bath mats and knee rugs.

Lidi had on display a watermill she had built in a Rik Pierce lesson. It was great with a crackling fireplace by Peter. I saw a cabinet of tiny people, found a two inch Pink Cyberfaery, a Golly for Shaun, a red gumball machine for Shaun’s motorbike man's bungalow, and a lovely little pink orchid for my miniature Miss Marple. I also got a mini guitar for Shaun’s little man, but that is Shaun’s birthday present so don’t let on! Next I found a blue urn, perfect for Miss Marple’s father’s ashes. The best find of all however, was an old style upright vacuum cleaner for Miss Marple that I simply had to get. You know the total came to the exact amount I had in my purse which was amazing!!! Jessica, who was a wonderful shop assistant, wrapped everything in tiny little parcels for me. The shop was everything I had hoped for and more. I can’t remember all I saw but it was a truly enjoyable visit for me. I saw a dollhouse built by Pete, Lidi’s collection of tin houses similar to one I played with at a friend’s house when little. There was a backyard scene with a clothesline and on it was my sister’s tea towel! I must ask Jessica for a photo of it. Pete put the lights on, in every scene I looked at, as well as turning on a string of lights he had made for a Christmas tree. They had displays of wallpapers, furniture, and cakes galore! So many wonderful cakes and other foods. I had to resist the cakes, though I do have Miss Marple’s tea room to build. I saw a cabinet I truly want to buy for a cake display for the tea shop but I must build it first.
Finally we went to their backyard to meet the poodles!!! Oh to see the big brown Maddy and Monty was wonderful. I sat on their grass and had cuddles galore with Monty trying to take my earrings out of my ear. I spent a wonderful hour or so playing with the poodles, not wanting to leave them. They cuddled and cuddled and then Monty went to Jessica so Maddy came to me and Monty growled at her, saying “she’s my toy” jealous boy. They have a cat and I asked about the dogs with the cat and Jessica said that Maddy was used to the cat and it was all cool but Monty had been there three years yet every time he saw the kitty it was like; ”There’s a cat!!!! A cat!!! Look at the cat!!!” and he enjoys watching the kitty just be a kitty!!! Monty is a very ill boy with some blood or bone disease and on medication for life and he lives every day to the full. I truly enjoyed seeing both of the dogs and it made my trip totally worthwhile.
Shaun, my fulltime carer as well as the best hubby ever, had spoken to the carer boss so I could have two whole hours at the mini shop; otherwise the whole trip would have been for a half hour. I am so glad he spoke up for me.

This was my first holiday in many many years and was well worth the wait, sadness and all.

Thirlbeck House

This is my Dad with the very first dollhouse in my world. I found it under a bush at a friend’s house, they were going to take it to the rubbish tip!!!! I begged Dad when he picked me up to let me have it. We went home in my mum’s little Renault and came back in his big blue Plymouth and fitted my ‘Thirlbeck’ in the back seat.
Dad put a new roof on, carpeted and wallpapered and my cousin put lights in for me! Thirty years later Thirlbeck had a renovation with new wallpaper, a bathroom and kitchen added and it was sat upon a library and museum. I hope others see it as it is in my imagination. My kitty sat in there out of my reach and destroyed the second floor in the museum which had a second renovation. I think I always do better the second time around anyway.

Dad passed away but before he died he bought a bunch of mini dogs from a bargain shop for me and mum gave them to me on my birthday, a few days after his death. It was my best birthday present, picturing my big dad with his fumbling fingers choosing tiny dogs for my dollhouse. Of course they all live in 'Thirlbeck', and the memory still makes me smile

Hello everyone, I am Robbie, the pink cyberfaery who lives on an island in a river in Australia on the far north coast. It is semi tropical here and everyday I thank my lucky stars for living in such a beautiful area. I know there are many wonderful places on this earth to live from chatting to internet friends, and for this I am glad as otherwise we wouldn't all fit in the one great place would we?
My interests are the world of miniatures as in dollhouses etc, and crafts. I used to spin and weave and have created some pretty pink wallhangings in my time but now am unable to see well enough to thread up a loom and spinning is a too hard on my wrists. I do have a sister who is fabulous at both however, and she can dye a a piece of her spun yarn to match any colour in the rainbow. She is currently weaving tartan rugs for locals in their own personal colours.
